How does the Auto Quoter work?
Starting conditions
So how exactly does the Auto Quoter work? Let us go through the basics! In your monday.com-board, each row represents one quote. Its connecting columns represent different sets of information, for example company name, deal creation date, etc. These sources of information can be customized to whatever you need and you can choose which of them should be included in the finished PDF quote.
Content specification
Connected to each row (i.e. quote) we have subitems which represent the specific products included in the quote. The columns connected to these subitems contain information such as quantity, price, unit etc.
Customized quote template
Now over to the fun part. The PDF document with your quote can be completely customized to fit your company branding. No more plain black and white PDF’s.
PDF generator
Once you’ve put in the needed information for the deal and your quote template is to your satisfaction. The only thing left is to click on the button to generate the PDF document!
What happens next?
Lastly, with a simple connection to your email platform, you can choose for the finished quote to be automatically sent to your contact at the company in question.
